Monday 26 September This morning I sold out of FGR at 10.5¢, realising a loss on the 13¢ I paid a month or two back. To me, the shares this morning broke a support level that I could not ignore. It was unfortunate because FGR had become the biggest holding in the trading portfolio after … Read more

Friday 23 September Yesterday I sold half the EOS at $1.20, representing a big loss on the $1.76 paid a month or two back, due to a further breakdown of support. Wednesday 21 September This morning I sold half the holding of Fastbrick Robotics (FBR) at 12.5¢ after they broke a very short term uptrend line. Tuesday 20 September Yesterday I purchased some TAS at 19¢. It was not really a breakout, but the chart looked reasonable and I like the EDE/TAS story. Perhaps unwise.
Friday 16 September The week started badly with a big fall in the portfolio return on Monday. But a number of stocks broke out that day so … Read more

Saturday 27 August It was a terrible week for the portfolio, with the YTD returns falling by 4%, from 11% to just 7%, and a far cry from the 18% achieved towards the end of July (refer to the link below). I console myself with the thought that in the previous financial year, the return at … Read more

Friday 12 August The trading portfolio’s return for the YTD remained broadly unchanged at 13% this week. A 16% fall in what had been the largest holding, AKP, was offset by some good performances elsewhere including FGR, GNG, IPD, PGC and XTE which all recorded rises of over 10%. But if I hadn’t sold half the AKP … Read more
